Including overseeing coverage of the EU referendum & Brexit, two UK elections as well as the election of Donald Trump and the terror attacks in London and Manchester Arena, her role incorporated everything from setting a distinctive creative calendar, delivering a relevant and inclusive current affairs offer and overseeing all of BBC 5Live’s News programmes, including its political offer and breaking news operation.
